La Lorraine launches free cookbook

La Lorraine Bakery Group has launched a free chef-created cookbook designed to help foodservice operators unlock the full potential of bakery across every daypart, from breakfast and brunch through to casual dining, grab-and-go and premium hospitality. Culinary Masterpieces brings together 18 creations that demonstrate how versatile bakery products can be transformed into commercially relevant menu concepts.

Among the featured recipes are premium sandwiches, gourmet burgers, Italian-inspired bakery dishes, brunch concepts and sharing options illustrating how operators can refresh menus without continually expanding stockholding. The highlights include schiacciata recipes featuring pesto, bresaola and asparagus, and pistachio, salami and burrata.

'Fresh, commercially relevant'
Kevin Hughes, country director UK and Ireland for La Lorraine Bakery Group, said: “Culinary Masterpieces has been developed to demonstrate just how versatile quality bakery can be. Rather than introducing more complexity, we've focused on showing how operators can make more of the products they already use by presenting them in fresh, commercially relevant ways.”
